Terms and Conditions

Tracking Association

By joining the Association, booking training sessions, or accessing online content, you agree to the following terms and conditions. These exist to ensure safety, clarity, and fairness for all members and participants.

Membership and Access

Membership is required to access the Association’s training pathway, members area, and ongoing training support. Only active Association members may request training guidance or support outside of scheduled sessions. Membership is non-transferable and applies to the named handler and dog only.

Training Locations and Responsibility

All practical training sessions take place in public or shared environments. Dogs remain the sole responsibility of their handlers at all times. The Association accepts no liability for the actions, behaviour, or welfare of dogs or handlers during training sessions or while travelling to and from training locations.

Handlers must ensure their dog is physically fit, healthy, and suitable for training. Any injuries, incidents, or damages involving dogs, people, property, or third parties are the responsibility of the handler.

Equipment and Handling Requirements

The Association does not judge or restrict the use of training tools for clients’ everyday training outside sessions. However, during Association training sessions, all dogs are required to wear a flat collar unless otherwise instructed by the Association. This is for consistency, safety, and clarity during group training.

Handlers are expected to follow all handling and safety instructions given during sessions. Failure to do so may result in removal from a session without refund.

Online Training Content

Online training content is provided for educational purposes only. It is the handler’s responsibility to apply the training appropriately and progressively. The Association accepts no liability for misuse, misinterpretation, or incorrect application of online training material.

All content remains the intellectual property of the Association and may not be copied, shared, recorded, or redistributed without written permission.

Sessions, Bookings, and Refunds

All bookings are final. No refunds are given at any time, including but not limited to missed sessions, cancellations, weather conditions, dog behaviour, or handler availability.

Sessions may be rescheduled or cancelled by the Association where necessary due to safety, access, weather, or operational reasons. Where possible, an alternative date will be offered, but this is not guaranteed.

Media, Recording, and Promotion

Training sessions may be recorded, photographed, or filmed for educational or promotional purposes. By booking a session or joining the Association, you consent to your dog and yourself appearing in media that may be published online, including on websites and social platforms.

If you do not wish to appear in media, this must be stated in writing before the session.

Behaviour and Conduct

Aggressive, unsafe, or disruptive behaviour from dogs or handlers will not be tolerated. The Association reserves the right to refuse participation or remove any handler or dog from training if safety or standards are compromised. No refunds will be issued in such cases.

Changes to Terms

The Association reserves the right to update or amend these terms and conditions at any time. Continued membership or attendance constitutes acceptance of any updated terms.

Acceptance

By joining the Association, booking training, or accessing online content, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions in full.
